Please be aware that your natural canvas, the canvas history, your life + financial limitations, will dictate what is achievable and in what amount of time. Several sessions may be required to reach your desired end goal.

DO YOU TAKE WALK -INS?

If available, I welcome walk ins. However, due to the availability there may be a waiting period or a need to schedule an actual appointment. Please note I am generally booked 3+ weeks out.

 

 

APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY

If appointments aren't available during your desired date and time, you can request to be added to my cancellation list. In the event of a cancellation, guests are contacted in order; first come first served.

 

 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?  

Bravata accepts all major credit cards and cash. I apologize for any inconvenience but we do not accept checks. 

 

 

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN or PETS? 

Well behaved children and service pets welcome. As a courtesy to other salon guests and in efforts to offer a professional and relaxed experience, we ask that you are aware that it is your responsibility | liability to watch your children | pets always, while in the studio.

 

 

WHAT IS A TONER | GLOSS?

First and foremost a toner | gloss is COLOR. They are used to neutralize, intensify or refresh color. They are also used to break the base, blend out grey, restore shine, lock in color and with lightening services; have the added benefit of closing the cuticle back down. 

*They are required with all lightening services 

WHAT IF IM UNHAPPY WITH MY SERVICE? 

In the event you are unhappy with your service, you have 7 days from your service date to notify the shop. In consideration of the original consultation, limitations etc. Another service may or may not be able to be booked.

GRATUITY

Gratuity is not included in the service price. If you are happy with your service, feel free to leave a little extra! 

 

 

 

 

 

ON-SITE OCCASION + MAKE-UP STYLING 

DEPOSIT

Deposits are required on 2+ heads or any onsite services. 

At the time of scheduling the event, I require a 50% deposit of total services scheduled. It is preferred that you book at least a month in advance.

CANCELLATION

100% of the deposit is refundable provided I receive a 2 week notice of cancellation. You will forfeit your deposit otherwise. 

CONSULTATION 

I recommend booking a consultation to speak about your desired look. Generally a consultation will allow me to determine the appropriate booking for your run through.

RUN THROUGH 

The run through is implemented to insure that all needs are met and timing, products and challenges are determined in advance to prevent mishaps. You may choose to skip the run through but it is not guaranteed that the outcome will meet all expectations. The run through will allow me to know definitively, how much time we will need for the day-of. 

PICTURES

Pictures are not to be taken by the guest at the time of the run through and the style will be taken out before leaving.

ON SITE | TRAVEL PRICING

$150 per hour | per head

PMU + SMP

WHAT IS MICROBLADING? 

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing achieved with a manual (not a machine) disposable handheld tool, composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (we call it a microblade), to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin.

WHAT ARE OMBRE'|POWDER BROWS?

Ombre' | Powder brows are a  type of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure achieved by depositing pigments is into your brows using small needles with a machine. While also sometimes called eyebrow tattooing, this is more of a cosmetic enhancement rather than a traditional tattoo art. Ombre'|Powder brows focuses on altering both color and shape to create a powdery appearance that looks soft and natural while appearing defined. Your eyebrows will look like you have applied a brow pencil or pomade over them.

WHAT IS LIP BLUSHING? 

Lip blushing is a type of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure achieved by depositing pigments in your lips using small needles. While also sometimes called lip tattooing, this is more of a cosmetic enhancement rather than traditional tattoo art. Lip blushing focuses on altering both color and shape to create younger-looking lips.

WHAT IS SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION?

Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles or short hair stubble. If you are starting to thin, recede, or if you are completely bald, we can give you the look of a short buzz cut. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST | HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Typically, the price will range depending on the level of work required to reach the desired end result. Most procedures requiring a minimum of 2 sessions. PMU typically requiring 2hr sessions + SMP typically requiring 4hr sessions. PMU starts at $200|HR. SMP starts at $250|HR

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST? 

All procedures are considered to be semi-permanent as they do not penetrate the dermis as far as a traditional tattoo and will naturally fade | lighten over time. Each individual’s color retention will vary based on skin type, products used, sun exposure, health and overall lifestyle. Brow + Lip procedures can generally expect 1-3 years of longevity before a touch-up session is needed. If you'd like to maintain a fresh look, touch-ups can be had as early as 6months. Scalps can generally expect 3-5 years of longevity before a touch-up may be desired. 

WILL PMU|SMP WORK WITH GRAY|LIGHT HAIR?

With all procedures we will color match you before the service begins. We use pigment that can be adjusted in shade to blend with lighter | gray hair tones. 

DO I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK?

All procedures are non-invasive and require no down time. In most cases, you will not need to take any extended time away from work, school, or other functions. After treatment it is common to notice slight redness on the area for 2-3 days post session. PMU Clients will experience scabbing throughout the healing process. SPM Clients are allowed to wear hats or headwear should they feel the need.

WILL THE COLOR CHANGE LIKE A TATTOO?

Sun exposure is the number one cause of tattoo fading, so don't skip the sunblock!

While we can not guarantee it, we can confidently say, your color should not change over time. The pigments we use are food-grade, Organic, plant based + 100% metal free.

HOW LONG UNTIL I CAN SWEAT, GO IN THE POOL, SAUNA, STEAM ROOM or TANNING BED AFTER TREATMENT? 

We recommend no heavy sweating or intense exercise for 4-7 days after your treatment and to avoid chlorinated pools, saunas, steam rooms, and tanning beds for 28 days post final session.

DOES IT HURT?

The pain level is considered mild to none. A numbing topical anesthetic is applied to the area during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. However, each person’s experience will vary depending on their pain tolerance and receptiveness to numbing agents. Topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area can be normal. Clients compare the feeling to a light sunburn. You may take pain relievers AFTER the procedure, but not 24 hours before.

SPM| IF I HAVE HAIR LEFT, CAN I LEAVE IT LONG?

Depending upon the pattern and extent of the thinning hair, some clients are able to maintain a longer length of hair. Scalp pigmentation can help thicken areas so that less of the scalp is seen showing through. However, if there is a strong pattern of hair loss or just not a lot of hair density left, the client is recommended to crop it shorter.

SMP| CAN SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION CAMOUFLAGE SCARS? 

Yes! By replicating tiny hair follicles inside the scarring and blending the color around the scarring area, transplant and surgical scars can see massive improvement in concealment.

SMP| CAN I STILL USE PROPECIA + or ROGAINE AFTER MY TREATMENT?

Clients can continue using Propecia during and after their scalp pigmentation procedure. Rogaine (topical minoxidil) should be suspended during the course of treatment and for 30 days post your final session. This is to ensure the proper healing and settling of pigment without interference of the chemicals found in Rogaine foam.

SMP| HOW LONG UNTIL I CAN SCRUB, SHAMPOO, or SHAVE THE ARE?

We recommend no scrubbing, shampooing, or shaving over the treated area for 4-5 days after your scalp micropigmentation treatment.

SMP| WILL SMP GROW MY HAIR BACK? 

No, the scalp micropigmentation treatment will not grow your hair back. However, the SMP treatment will give you the look of short hair or a tight buzz-cut. We recommend keeping your hair at a shorter length to create the most natural outcome. 

POLICIES 

CAN I RETURN A PURCHASE? 

In the event you are unhappy with a purchase, you have 7 days from the purchase date to return or exchange your purchase. *Haircare tools or accessories such as brushes or clips will not be returned. 

 

 

WHAT IF IM UNHAPPY WITH A SERVICE? 

In the event you are unhappy with your service, you have 7 days from your service date to notify the shop. In consideration of the original consultation, limitations etc. Another service may or may not be able to be booked.

 

CONFIRMATION TEXT 

As a courtesy to guests, you will receive an appointment reminder three days in advance. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and any related fees.

 

 

LATE ARRIVALS 

I run on a very tight schedule and most likely have another appointment right after yours. If you are going to be running late please text Bravata ahead of time. Failure to arrive in a timely fashion (within 15 minutes of your appointment time) without notice or at all will be subject to a charge equal to 100% of the services booked. I believe in the value of your time as well and make a conscience effort to avoid long waiting periods. If time is critical to your schedule on a particular day, please make us aware before your appointment, as each service requires a minimum in time, to be achieved. 

 

 

CHANGES | RESCHEDULING | CANCELING | MISSED APPOINTMENTS 

I require 48hr+ notice on any changes to appointments, including rescheduling or canceling. This is for any reason, or there is a fee of 50% of the services booked. Failure to arrive in a timely fashion (within 15 minutes of your appointment time) without notice or at all will be subject to a charge equal to 100% of the services booked. I understand that things come up last minute, as well as emergencies and sickness! I do sympathize with these unforeseen challenges. Unfortunately, without sufficient notice I can not fill your spot; causing my business to be closed for the allotted time that you reserved for your appointment. The policies in place are of course not personal just necessary.

 

*Three times not within policy time frame, will result in no longer being able to schedule future appointments without prepaying.
